  • Description: Amaryllis is a young and beautiful girl, whom her father has isolated in a villa in the countryside, keeping her confined there for fear of being abandoned the moment she experiences love, as her mother left him years ago. Her bitterness is sweetened by a young student, Stefanos, who comes to visit his uncle, a bitter retired officer who also lives a solitary existence in the countryside. Amaryllis falls for Stefanos, but the ending is not what she expects. There are two versions for the ending of the film: one bitter and one happy.
